CHOICES
Mini Golf Hole for Climate Awareness
Collectively, our daily decisions have real consequences for the world. This mini-golf hole allows a player to learn about some of the effects of these choices, both on people and the environment as a whole.
As our population has grown, emissions have risen exponentially. A player starts the hole with 3 pathways/choices of different slopes and materiality, representing three possible emission trajectories. The pathways lead to a terrain representing the physical impacts emissions have on the environment—rising water and desertification. The trajectories also reveal themselves as a bar graph tallying climate refugees: the victims of higher emissions and climate degradation.
